 2012 presented the multiple Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer, October 28, at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in the Dallas Arts District. In an October 29 review for The Dallas Morning ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, Classical Music Critic Scott Cantrell writes: "For the life of me, I can’t remember choral singing more drop-dead, chills-down-the-back elegant than that offered Sunday night by the male vocal ensemble Chanticleer." Art & Soul is a quadrennial program made possible by the Claudia and Taylor Robinson Lectureship at Perkins School of Theology. Claudia and Taylor Robinson, both graduates of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, established the fund with the intention that it be devoted to surveying the arts as interpreters of religious beliefs and practices.
