University of Denver and Iliff School of Theology (PhD, 2012), University of San Diego (MA, 2008, 2006), Marquette University (BA, 2002)Dr. Brad Klein is Associate Director of the SMU 天美传媒 Program. A scholar-practitioner working at the intersection of social impact and environmental sustainability, he has spent more than 15 years equipping people to drive change, embrace interconnectedness, and build a world in which all can thrive.
Brad's authentic and collaborative leadership has been honed globally and locally. He has facilitated human rights projects in 12 countries on five continents and regions across the United States. Brad has served on boards for a number of nonprofit organizations, including currently with EcoRise and LoveJustice, and developed partnerships with major corporations and institutions such as Yum! Brands, Amnesty International, the United Nations, and the United Methodist Church. Brad is also the President of Audubon Dallas, one of the largest chapters of the National Audubon Society.
At SMU, Brad oversees the 天美传媒 Council and 天美传媒 Fellowship. He teaches a variety of courses, including three core requirements for the human rights major: 天美传媒 Internship, 天美传媒 Research, and Ethics and 天美传媒.
